Example of tungsten-tin-molybdenum-niobium polymetallic ore selection plant in Shizhuyuan, Jixian County, Hunan Province
1. Introduction: Shizhuyuan metal mine in Hunan Chen County, Dongpo ore field is a large-scale tungsten - tin - molybdenum - bismuth polymetallic deposits. It is part of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation. At present, only one 50t/d pilot plant in production was put into production on Dongpo in 1971 and has been in production. The mining and selection enterprises of 3000t/d are under construction.
2. Deposits, ores and mining
Shizhuyuan is a deposit in the Dongpo ore field, which is located at the north slope of the eastern slope-monthly complex slanting north slope between the 郴-Zifu anticline and the Wugaishan complex anticline.
The Shizhuyuan deposit consists of a nearly parallel tin ore body produced in a horizontal direction and consists of a tin-bismuth-tungsten-molybdenum composite ore body. The ore reserves in the deposit are large, with an average grade of 0.064% Mo, 0.344% WO 3 , 0.112% Sn, and 0.126% Bi.
The tin-bismuth-tungsten-molybdenum composite ore body is consistent with skarn distribution and is lenticular and layered. A single tin ore body is produced in marble and some skarnized marble above the integrated ore body.
The No. III ore body is 600m long, 500m wide and 50~130m thick, and is lenticular. The average grade of ore: 0.109% Mo, 0.460% WO 3 , 0.106% Sn, 0.148% Bi.
The No. II ore body is 900m long, 800m wide and 50~100m thick. It is layered and lenticular. The average grade of ore is 0.02% Mo, 0.238% WO 3 , 0.123% Sn, 0.107% Bi.
The No. I ore body is 750m long, 500m wide and 10~50m thick, and it has a layered output. The average grade of ore: 0.105% Sn.
There are three main types of ore.
Skarn-type tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth ore; close to the granite intrusion contact zone, and the eastern part is the lower part of the tin ore body. The main minerals are mainly scheelite and stibnite, and there are pheasant molybdenum, cassiterite and scheelite . The gangue minerals are mainly garnet, diopside , fluorite , hornblende, feldspar and mica. Wait. The average grade of ore: 0.1~0.5% WO 3 (a few >1% WO 3 ), 0.01%~0.04% Mo (a few ≥0.1% Mo), 0.05%~0.2%Sn, 0.03%~0.20%Bi.
Yunyingyan-skarn mixed molybdenum-tungsten-rhenium ore: distributed in the lower part of the upper ore, the bottom plate is in direct contact with the granite. Form a local rich section. The average grade of ore: 0.454% WO 3 , 0.107% Mo, 0.146% Bi, 0.106% Sn. 30.6% of WO 3 is a black tungsten ore, mainly composed of cloud veins and quartz veins, and is produced by mesh veins or parallel veins. The main metal minerals are hematite, scheelite, molybdenite and stibnite.
The marble type tin ore contains almost no molybdenum. This is omitted.
The contents of tungsten, molybdenum and niobium in the Shizhuyuan polymetallic deposit all reached the industrial grade of separate mining. The composition of the ore is shown in Table 1.

The main useful mineral inlays in the ore are not only fine, but also very uneven. When the ore is ground to 90%-200 mesh, the monomer dissociation degree of the wolframite and scheelite is more than 85%, the molybdenite is only 80%, and the stibnite is only 80%.
The minerals in the ore are closely related to each other, and some tungsten minerals are surrounded by molybdenite with 3~5μm particles. A small amount of molybdenum also enters scheelite with the same type of homologue to form molybdenum-containing scheelite or tungsten-molybdenum ore.
In view of the variety of useful minerals, close symbiosis, uneven particle size, and high calcium minerals, it is very difficult to sort. [next]
3. Mineral processing technology
The mineral processing process is shown in Figures 1 to 5. The process test indicators are listed in Table 2.
According to the industrial test has been approved, the new design plant adopts the principle of heavy-floating-magnetic-floating.

4. Mineral processing agent
According to the design of 1978, 21 kinds of flotation reagents; in 1980, the preliminary design was changed to 18 kinds.

Ore grade: 0.601% WO 3 , 0.132% Mo, 0.178% Bi, 21.76% CaF 2 ; molybdenum concentrate grade 45% Mo, molybdenum recovery rate 80%, molybdenum concentrate yield 2059t / a; antimony concentrate grade 30% Bi The recovery rate of ruthenium is 65%, the output of bismuth concentrate is 3868t/a, the grade of tungsten concentrate is 70% WO 3 , the output of tungsten concentrate is 6818t/a, the concentration of tungsten ore is 9% WO 3 , and the grade of fluorite concentrate is 97% CaF 2 . CaF 2 recovery rate was 30%, fluorite production was 66626 t/a; iron concentrate production was 13077 t/a; sulfur concentrate production was 78814 t/a.
