IWC has received 2 orders for 18 members of deepwater pressure tanks
While the U.S. lifeboat manufacturer continues to advance the construction of deepwater pressure tankers, the sales team at Esplanade Singapore has created another milestone. They have signed a new contract with JFD in the UK and will provide two 18-member deepwater pressure vessels for JFD.
Under the contract, IWC will provide an 18-member lifeboat model and its hull system, while JFD will be responsible for the construction of the pressure chamber in the deepwater pressure tank.
The two deepwater pressure tankers will be installed in the deep diving work support vessel "Andy Warhol" built by Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS) in Singapore. The ship is planned to be equipped with 4 generators with a total installed capacity of nearly 14 MW. The first unit is equipped with two 1800kW side pushers and one 1200kW telescopic propeller. The rear is equipped with two 2500kW full-rotation main propellers, which will show superior dynamic positioning capability in the future. The ship will also be equipped with a 150-ton offshore crane with a heave compensation function with a maximum working depth of 3,000 meters. The boat can accommodate up to 120 people.
It is reported that the contract is the third single transaction signed between Wan Guo and JFD. As a global manufacturer of life-saving and rescue boats, Vanguard Composite Engineering Pte Ltd has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with JFD, promising that both parties will continue to research and improve the further optimization of the internal system of deepwater pressure cabins.
