Langzhou, Langfang, Hebei Province or will build Konggang New District

A few days ago, the brewing of the new airport project in the capital has passed the State Council's deliberation. The site of the project is finally scheduled to be located in the town of Daxing, Daxing District, Beijing. Since it is adjacent to Guangyang District of Langfang, Hebei Province, one-third of the land required for the first phase of the project will be provided by Hebei Province. The reporter recently learned from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission that in order to seize the favorable opportunity for the construction of the new airport in the capital, Hebei Province is planning to construct a new airport in Langfang and Cangzhou to better accept the new airport's radiation on the development of the industry.

According to news from the China Civil Aviation North China Regional Administration ("North China Bureau"), the new airport project is expected to be completed in 2018. Industry insiders predict that demand for the aviation market in Beijing will continue to grow at a high rate between 2016 and 2018. Therefore, the North China Bureau encourages Beijing, Nanyuan, Tianjin, and Shijiazhuang Airports to share the passenger and cargo traffic from the Capital Airport to the second and third tier cities before the new airport is completed.
