From May 22, 2013 to November 29, 2013, some imported 2013 Lexus IS250C cars, a total of 31 vehicles; From January 7, 2013 to December 25, 2013, some of the 2013 Lexus GX400 cars were imported, totaling 2,094 cars. The airbags of the co-pilots of some vehicles within the scope of this recall were equipped with an ammonium nitrate gas generator produced by Takata Corporation without desiccant. During the deployment of the airbag, the gas generator may be damaged, causing debris to fly out and injuring people in the vehicle. This poses a safety hazard. Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the airbag assembly or gas generator of the passenger seat free of charge for vehicles in the recalled area to eliminate defects.
