Shaanxi Heavy was built in 1968 and was originally a weak "three-tier" company. In 1990, Shaanxi Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd., a loss-making enterprise with a sales revenue of only 100 million yuan, had a total production and sales volume of more than 10 billion yuan in 2007. It has maintained the fastest growth rate in the national heavy truck industry for three consecutive years. The company's products have been exported to 36 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and Africa, and established 15 foreign sales service networks, forming 91 overseas distribution channels. More than 11,000 vehicles have been exported to the rest of the world.
It is predicted that in 2008, the sales volume of heavy truck trucks will reach 80,000, and the sales revenue will reach 30 billion yuan by 2010, becoming a well-known commercial vehicle production base at home and abroad.
