Nangaojing is the "Ocean Engineering 661" modified adjustable paddle equipment

      Nanjing Gaojing Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully completed the navigation test for the adjustable propeller equipment of “Ocean Engineering 661 ”. This project is a retrofitting of an old ship. The original ship's ship power system is driven by a reversible gearbox to drive a fixed propeller ( FPP ) system. In order to improve the maneuverability and reliability of the ship, the original ship fixed propeller ( FPP ) system needs to be transformed into a Tray.

Due to the structural limitations of the original ship, before determining the system transformation plan, it is necessary to fully consider the current hull structure and the actual operating state of the ship's shafting, to minimize the workload of the transformation, and at the same time ensure the system performance after the transformation. Therefore, the technical difficulty of the adjustable paddle transformation is far greater than that of the new shipbuilding. The technical person in charge of the high-precision marine company carefully digested the original ship drawings and combined with the site inspection, and finally decided to adopt the plan with the least amount of work. The transformation plan retains the main engine, gearbox and intermediate shaft shafting of the original power system while maintaining the original hull structure. The original ship's fixed pitch and boring shafts were replaced with adjustable paddles and boring shafts, and a new on-shaft oil distribution mechanism was used to reproduce the hydraulic system and control system.

     Through the sea trial, the system runs smoothly. After the transformation, the maximum speed, shafting vibration and equipment reliability of the ship have reached the design requirements and won high praise from customers. Through the design, installation and commissioning of the project, high-precision marine has accumulated a large amount of theoretical and practical experience for the transformation of fixed paddles into adjustable paddles, which fully verified the technical strength of Nanjing Gaojing Marine in the field of ship modification.
