April 21, 2016 News Recently, JD Power released the 2016 American Native Tire Customer Satisfaction Study. It is understood that this study evaluates the tire satisfaction of vehicle owners in four market segments: luxury cars, passenger cars, high-performance sports cars and trucks/commercial vehicles. Satisfaction has four metrics: tire wear, tire running, tire appearance, and tire friction/handling. The results show that Michelin ranks first in the segment of luxury cars, passenger car segments, and truck/commercial vehicles, with satisfaction ratings of 742, 724, and 698 respectively. Pirelli (724 points) ranks first in the high-performance sports car segment. The 2016 US Tire Customer Satisfaction Study was based on the feedback and evaluation of 31977 original owners. The owners of these vehicles are either 2014 or 2015 models. Data collection was conducted from October to December 2015. The research results and rankings are based entirely on the tire experience of the owner after two years of car ownership.
