Deep examination of key equipment and equipment development experimental review held

A few days ago, under the auspices of the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the “National Institute of Deep Exploration Technology and Experimental Research” organized the “Design and Development of Deep Exploration Key Equipment and Research and Experiments” project design review meeting held in Beijing. At present, domestic deep oil drilling rigs are not suitable for multi-process drilling methods in deep continental science to drill complex formations because of their low rotational speed, simple drilling process, low coring drilling efficiency, and high drilling cost. The hydraulic top-drive drilling rig, due to its low drilling depth, cannot meet the needs of deep continental scientific drilling. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a special drilling rig that is suitable for China's 10,000 meters deep hole core drilling. The research group mainly studied the special equipment, special drilling tools and special materials for deep continental scientific drilling equipment.

The key technologies of this project mainly include: high-speed hydraulic top drive device, high-precision automatic feed drilling device, etc., in order to achieve scientific drilling of ultra-deep wells of 10,000 meters, and comprehensively improve the level of deep drilling technology.
