The role of arm-type garbage truck fuel system

The role of the fuel system is to supply fuel with a certain pressure to the swing arm garbage truck engine. It also has the function of filtering impurities or dust in the fuel, and regulates the fuel supply. The fuel system consists of the following components: Fuel tank: Used to store fuel. Fuel pump: Fuel is pumped from the tank to the engine. Fuel Filter: The fuel filter contains a filter element to remove impurities from the fuel. Pressure Regulator: Regulates the fuel pressure so that it is always at an optimal level for stable fuel injection. Fuel Distributor: Distributes pressurized fuel to each injector.

Injector: Injects the appropriate amount of fuel into the intake manifold of the corresponding cylinder or directly into the cylinder. Fuel tank cap: Used to cover the fuel tank, and a valve is provided to keep the pressure in the tank constant. Fuel line. Release the remaining pressure in the fuel line. Disconnect the fuel pulsation attenuator from the fuel arm of the swing arm garbage truck and install the fuel check connector. Install the pressure gauge on the fuel check connector. Turn the ignition switch ON and check for fuel leaks. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks. Read the reading on the fuel gauge.

At idle: approximately 350kPa. Stop the engine and check the readings of the arm-type garbage truck fuel gauge readings. The pressure gauge reading should not change within 5 minutes after the engine is stopped. When disassembling the fuel system components, such as fuel delivery hoses, fuel injectors and fuel rails, it is necessary to release the pressure remaining in the fuel line as follows: Turn off the ignition switch. Remove the fuel pump relay or fuse. Start the engine and let it idle. As the fuel pressure in the pipeline drops, the engine will automatically stop shortly after it runs.
