On September 5, 2013, the “12th Five-Year†National 863 Program electric vehicle major project “Deep Hybrid Powertrain Industrialization and Power System Platform Construction†undertaken by the China National Automobile Center passed the mid-term on-site inspection of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Wu Zhixin, deputy director of the center, received a group from the inspection team. Before the meeting, the inspection team visited the central laboratory with the hybrid bus developed by the research team, and highly praised the products developed by the research team and the technical level of the new campus construction and facilities. During the inspection, the research team gave a detailed introduction to the project progress, mission indicators, funding use and follow-up work.
