Yichang Shipwood received 8 orders for WinG&D 6X35 mainframe at one time
Recently, CSIC Yichang Shipai and China Shipbuilding Huangpu Wenchong Ship Co., Ltd. signed a contract for 8 WinG&D 6X35 mainframes at one time. This is the first cooperation between Yichang Ship Chai and Huangpu Wenchong. It is also the first time that Yichang Ship Chai has undertaken this type of mainframe production order. It is expected that the first machine will be delivered to customers in July 2017.
The acquisition of this single contract is the result of Yichang Ship Chai's transformation of its business strategy, improvement of service level and continuous improvement of quality and efficiency. It is also because of the excellent product quality and perfect service system that Huangpu Wenchong Ship Co., Ltd. has strengthened its confidence, broke through the inherent obstacles and reached cooperation with the company.
CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Ship Co., Ltd. is a large shipbuilding enterprise under the China National Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It is the main construction base for special engineering vessels and offshore engineering in South China. It is also the largest production base for Chinese dredging engineering vessels and feeder container vessels.
It is reported that WinG&D 6X35 mainframe is used for small to medium-sized freighters with shallow draft and compact cabin size. The main engine is easy to operate and can be applied to both fixed pitch and adjustable paddles. Covers bulk carriers, oil tankers, gas boats, reefer vessels and feeder container vessels sailing in deep sea, coastal and inland waters.
The WinG&D 6X35 mainframe is a marine low-speed mainframe with electronic control and common rail, which has the highest efficiency among such mainframes. Compared with the traditional mechanical control host, it has 3% fuel economy.
It is designed to be very stable and can be operated without maintenance for a long time. The removal time (TBO) of key components can be up to 5 years. According to the state maintenance (CBM) and service agreement, the dismantling interval can be further extended to achieve minimum maintenance costs and maximum ship profitability.
