Hubei Xingfa Group announced that Hubei Xingrui Chemical Co., Ltd. will invest 479,945,100 yuan to build 300,000 tons / year ion-exchange membrane caustic soda extension and supporting public projects.
The announcement said that the project is located in the Xingchang Fine Chemical Park, Yichang, with a total investment of 497,945,100 yuan, of which 45,218,900 yuan in fixed assets investment. The construction period of the project is 18 months and it will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, the company invested 418,083,100 yuan to build a production line of 100,000 tons/year and supporting ancillary works. The second phase invested 79.86 million yuan, adding two sets of electrolytic tanks and other equipment, and eventually formed a production capacity of 150,000 tons/year.
The project adopted Japan Chlorine Engineering Company's ion-exchange membrane process to make the alkali process, and selected its original bipolar natural circulation tank. After completion, it will further improve the circular economy industrial chain of the Xingchang Fine Chemicals Park in Yichang, reduce the park's production costs, meet the increasing demand for liquid chlorine in the park, and create good economic benefits for the Xingfa Group and the Yichang Park. After reaching production capacity, the annual sales income can reach 410 million yuan, and the annual net profit can reach 59 million yuan. The investment recovery period is about 7 years.
Xingfa Group stated that both the company and the Yichang Fine Chemicals Park use caustic soda and chlorine directly or indirectly. With the successive completion and commissioning of a batch of projects, the chlorine demand in the Yichang Park will also grow rapidly. The existing 150,000 tons/year ion-exchange membrane caustic soda plant of Hubei Xingrui Chemical Co., Ltd., has been unable to meet the needs of various devices for production, and an urgent need to expand the ion Membrane caustic soda plant scale, balancing the supply and demand of chlorine and caustic soda for downstream units. Therefore, the expansion of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda is necessary.
At the same time, Xingfa Group agreed to jointly increase its capital by RMB 200 million in the same manner as other shareholders of Xingrui Co., Ltd. in cash, making its registered capital reach RMB 600 million. Among them, the Hing Fat Group invested 100 million yuan. After the capital increase was completed, the Hing Fat Group still accounted for 50% of the registered capital of Xingrui.
