Check valve overview

Check valve: Check valve, also known as check valve or check valve, its role is to prevent the pipeline in the media backflow. The bottom valve of the pump is also a check valve.

The opening and closing parts are opened or closed by the medium flow and force to prevent the back flow of the medium from being called a check valve. The check valve is an automatic valve and is mainly used in the medium of one-way flow. It only allows medium to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.

Check valves are divided by structure and can be divided into three types: lift check valves, swing check valves and butterfly check valves. Lifting check valves can be divided into vertical check valves and horizontal check valves. Swing check valves are classified into single-valve check valves, double-valve check valves and multi-valve check valves. The butterfly check valve is a straight-through check valve. The above types of check valves can be classified into three types: threaded check valve, flanged check valve and welded check valve.

Check valve installation should pay attention to the following top: 1, do not make the check valve in the pipeline to bear weight, large check valve should be independently supported, so that it is not affected by the pressure generated by the pipe system. 2. When installing, pay attention to the direction of the medium flow and the arrow direction of the valve body. 3, lifting vertical valve check valve should be installed in the vertical pipe. 4. Lifting horizontal flap check valves should be installed on horizontal pipes.
