At present, these sewage treatment facilities are all planned to be upgraded and the total investment will reach 1 billion yuan.

According to relevant sources, according to the new standard, four sewage treatment plants will implement monitoring projects such as nitrogen and phosphorus. After the upgrade, the effluent standards of all the sewage treatment plants will reach the level directly used for landscape water.

It is understood that the total amount of sewage treated by these four sewage treatment plants will reach 1.15 million tons per day, which is equivalent to about 2/3 of the total discharge of sewage in the urban areas of Shenyang City.

If the burial is fully implemented, it will affect the surrounding geological environment of the sludge plant.

Shenyang plans to learn advanced sludge treatment technology from France, extract heavy metals such as copper and lead, and try to “turn waste into treasure”.
