On July 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers announced the production and sales of automobiles in June and the first half of 2017. In June, the production and sales of automobiles showed a slight increase year-on-month and year-on-year. In the first half of the year, the growth rate of automobile production and sales slowed down compared with the same period, among which the growth rate of production and sales of passenger cars decreased significantly, and the growth rate of commercial vehicles was significantly higher than the same period.

The growth rate of trucks in the first half

In the first half of the year, the production and sales of automobiles were 13.52528 million vehicles and 13.3329 million vehicles, which was an increase of 4.64% and 3.81% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 1.83 percentage points and 4.33 percentage points lower than the same period of last year. In the first half of the year, among the major varieties of commercial vehicles, the growth rate of trucks has increased significantly over the previous year, among which the growth rate of semi-trailer tractors has been even more pronounced; the decline in passenger cars has increased. The production and sales of trucks were 1,829,300 and 1,881,600, an increase of 18.70% and 22.63% year-on-year, with an increase of 15.12 percentage points and 18.60 percentage points from the same period of last year.

Among the major types of trucks, the production and sales of heavy trucks were 571,400 and 583,700 units, an increase of 68.11% and 71.51% year-on-year, an increase of 53.85 percentage points and 56.35 percentage points over the same period of the previous year. Among them, the production and sales of semitrailer tractors were 30.10 million and 31.99. Ten thousand vehicles, an increase of 76.56% and 91.92% year-on-year, an increase of 44.29 percentage points and 60.66 percentage points over the same period of last year. The passenger car production and sales were 218,700 units and 220,400 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15.34% and 13.98%, and the rate of decline was 5.90 percentage points and 4.50 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year. Bus production and sales were 28,500 and 27,900, a year-on-year decrease of 18.26% and 17.38%; medium-sized passenger cars were both sold and sold at 26,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 37.54% and 36.36%; light bus production and sales 16.4. 20,000 cars and 166,500 cars. Trucks drop in the month of June

In June, the production of motor vehicles was 2,167,400 units, an increase of 3.86% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 5.42%. The sales volume was 2,171,900 units, an increase of 3.62% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 4.54%. The production of commercial vehicles was 322,500 units, a decrease of 4.88% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 16.63%. The sales volume was 341,100 units, a decrease of 1.35% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 18.36%.

In June, among the main varieties of commercial vehicles, the production and sales of passenger cars showed a rapid growth compared with the previous month, and the number of trucks decreased. Compared with the same period of last year, passenger car production decreased slightly, sales increased slightly, trucks maintained rapid growth, and the growth rate of semitrailer tractors remained significant.

In June, the production and sales of trucks were 276,900 units and 290,700 units, a decrease of 6.98% and 4.50% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 21.32% and 21.71%. Among the major types of trucks, heavy-duty trucks were sold and sold for 95,200 vehicles and 97,600 vehicles, a decrease of 1.05% and 0.13% from the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 66.83% and 64.39%. The output decreased by 6.77% year-on-year and sales volume increased by 1.87%.
