For the advancement of the Chinese agricultural machinery industry

First, visitors watch high-end large-scale dependence on imports. For domestic products that cannot be made temporarily, in order to develop China's large agriculture, build large grain warehouses, and at the same time increase production and efficiency, it is understandable to purchase foreign machinery to improve mechanization. However, this is only an expedient measure and not a permanent solution! The autonomy of equipment must always be upheld. If our domestic high-end, large-scale agricultural machinery and equipment are dependent on imports, will the country's food security be safe? Isn't that alarmist?

Second, domestic industry leaders need to reflect. Pioneers have always believed that they would suffer losses if they engage in large-scale agricultural machinery. The market is not large, and the amount will not come. There will be no benefit. But a company with a strategic vision can't think so. In the long run, the leaders must carry out technical and product reserves. Some of the vanguards always said that the benchmarking was actually not at all. Some big companies and national projects took a lot, but the quality of the project was not negligible! While some SMEs in the country have almost no projects, they are very good.

Third, China’s dependence on imports of high-end equipment is widespread. Equipping China with Chinese equipment is the consistent position of Chinese industry. The China Industry News found that not only agricultural machinery but also other high-end products such as automobiles, machine tools and construction machinery rely on imports. This is the top priority for Chinese industry. When Gao Yuan En of the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Industry talked about the surplus, some people did not agree with it. Although the surplus is large, they are actually imported with high value and cannot be done domestically. When interviewed by this reporter, the China Hydraulic Association Changsha Baosen once lamented: “We are sweating when we export, and tears are imported!”.

Fourth, the solution? These issues are not the unilateral responsibilities of the government, enterprises, and users, but require the concerted efforts of all parties. It is worth looking forward to working out an innovation alliance and whether this issue can be resolved. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, China will also use more taxpayers’ money, about 300 million yuan, to support agricultural machinery research. In the end, whether the money can make a lot of problems, even if there is a subject, and a substantial breakthrough, it is worth looking forward to! The 200-horsepower tractor that China took the lead in this time made substantial progress, but this project was brought in by foreign engineers! When China dragged on Fiat technology from the last century, it must have taken on many issues over the years. But how is the progress expected? You can give money time, but also allow trial and error, but you can't do it!
