Wang Xianwei was originally an outside employee of a subsidiary company of the Wuhan Railway Bureau. He can use a single line and a computer to implement rail flaw detection.

One day in 2008, the Ministry of Railways organized a "Flawless Match" to see which company could find the flaws on the rails with the best accuracy. At that time, Wang Xianwei made software in the company and was informed to join the project team.

Wang Xianwei also clearly remembers that in the inspection match, his team could see equipment defects based on ripples instead of equipment output data, but foreign companies have no problems with advanced equipment. At the same time, Wang Xianwei found that the false positive rate of imported companies was also relatively high. There may be only one flaw on one wheel, while the other side reported more than a dozen and the ability to identify errors was poor.

Since then, he began to study the testing equipment market. He found that in the face of restrictions imposed by foreign developed countries on domestic high-tech exports, the field of railroad testing has been monopolized by foreign companies such as the United States, Germany, and France, and the prices have been exaggerated. Wang Xianwei said: “Foreign instruments provide us with a quotation of 1.2 million. In fact, the cost is only 5,000 yuan.”

Faced with such a profitable market, Wang Xianwei saw the business opportunity. So he and another classmate raised their own funds and jointly established Wuhan Han Tie Technology Company. At the time, there were only two companies in the same industry in China.

After setting up the company, he positioned the first product on the “process bogie” that he found to be easy, but he still had many difficulties. The first problem encountered is that the driving power technology or even devices of foreign related products are not exported to China. What should we do if we restrict China? Wang Xianwei knows that although it is possible to go abroad for a detour, the high cost will definitely make it a start. The micro-micro company is unbearable. As a result, he can only engage in technical research.

Two years later, the company’s first core product finally came out of the lab, causing a number of companies to focus on it. Over time, the product was actually out of stock. At that time, foreign technology of the same type could pull a train straight away, and his product could make the car turn! "You know, the role of straight lines and turning in the railway field is just a difference. In addition, imported products cannot be customized. Our It can be customized, the cost is much higher, to attract a large number of customers." Wang Xianwei said.

With a core scientific research team composed of 80 years later, Wang Xianwei's company has formed three major series of non-standard railway maintenance equipment, ultrasonic flaw detection equipment technology development and light steel structure engineering, and in 2011 passed the ISO9001 certification. Wang Xianwei said: "Foreign equipment can detect 2 millimeters, our equipment detection averages 0.5 millimeters, and the accuracy is increased by 4 times, which is equivalent to a big increase in the insurance factor."
