This engine uses ultra-modern common rail technology, variable geometry turbocharger and advanced control with the highest efficiency. In order to meet strict Euro 6 emission standards, the new engine uses exhaust gas recirculation plus SCR technology and active soot filters to achieve industry-leading fuel efficiency, reliability and sustainability. The new 12.9 litre PACCAR MX-13 Euro 6 engine will begin production in 2013, output or 300 kW/410 kW/460 hp, 340 hp and 375 kW/510 hp, and will be widely used on DAFXF and CF series trucks.
